Our Core Values

Biblical:

Since the Bible is the very Word of God and our final authority, we value being Biblical and commit to preaching and teaching the Bible faithfully, accurately, in reliance upon God’s Spirit, and for the faith and maturity in Christ of all (Col. 1:28-29; 2 Tim. 3:16-17).

Godliness:

Since Jesus is Lord and God is transforming us into the likeness of Jesus Christ, we value and commit to pursuing and growing in godly living in obedience to the Bible and by the power of God’s Holy Spirit (Eph. 4:22-24; Tit. 2:11-14; James 1:27; 1 Pet. 1:14-16).

Grace:

Since salvation and godliness are the work of God’s grace through Jesus Christ, we value grace and commit to proclaim, teach, and show the forgiving, life-transforming grace of God in all we do (1 Cor. 15:10; Eph. 2:8-10; Phil. 2:12-13).

Welcoming:

Since God has welcomed us by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we value welcoming all persons and commit to welcome them warmly and with the gospel of Jesus Christ (Rom. 15:5-7; 1 Pet. 5:14).

People:

Since people are created in the image of the living God, we value human life and dignity, and we value the diversity of persons whom God has created (Gen. 1:26-27; Col. 3:11; Rev. 7:9).

Family:

Since God has united us in Jesus Christ by His Spirit, we value and commit to the church as our family in the faith and to care for families, including marriages, children, and singles (Gen. 2:24; Deut. 6:4-9; Eph. 6:1-4; Col. 3:18-21).
